Jelena Sredanović is an artist born in Novi Sad, Serbia and was the winner of the Great Seal Award 2010, the prize which was established in 1963 and represents one of the oldest and most prestigious awards for graphic art in Serbia today. She won second prize at the Walter Koschatsky Art Award in 2009 and won first prize at the 38th Novi Sad Salon. She is a member of the Association of Artists of Vojvodina.
‘Clouds & Reflections’ are a series of large scale (small edition) woodcuts focusing on the surface of the world looking down from above. The vast, predominantly blue compositions mirror the beauty of our planet, but also capture its fragility.
