ANDREA ZVADOVA is a UK based photography artist born in Slovakia. Her work focuses on both digital and analogue techniques. After her experience with old alternative processes, she discovered a love of cyanotype photograms, printing on large scale canvases as well as paper and glass.
Her surroundings in wild flora has had a major influence on her work. Time spent in nature has always provided a meditative space. Turning off the machine of the brain and turning on the senses.
Her hand-printed photograms are reminiscent of summer, a sense of freedom, walks through meadows, grasses and weeds that reach the waist. Reflections of sunshine along the banks of the river, shimmering lights amongst the tree branches.
These prints become a collaboration with nature.
Her cyanotype works have been showcased at the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair, the Slovak Embassy in London and also in her homeland.
