CIRCLE is a destination for those who collect with intention. Presenting a considered collection of contemporary painting, textiles, sculpture, original prints, and ceramics, the gallery brings together artists from Cornwall and around the world whose work is grounded in a deep connection to place.

Spanning two light-filled floors, CIRCLE’s year-round programme of solo and group exhibitions is shaped by the vision of co-directors Lucy Thorman and John O’Carroll. Working in close dialogue with collectors and leading interior designers, Lucy curates works that find their place in private collections and public spaces worldwide.

John O’Carroll is an internationally recognised contemporary painter. His working studio occupies the gallery’s first floor, and he divides his time between the Cornish coast and a winter studio in Egypt’s Western Desert, drawing inspiration from landscapes shaped by elemental force.

Now in its 11th year, CIRCLE and its artists have been featured in ELLE Decoration, Homes & Gardens, and Wallpaper— a testament to the gallery’s distinctive blend of artistic integrity and contemporary elegance.
