In a quiet corner of North Cornwall, Jack Button handcrafts ceramics that connect us to the simple rituals of daily life.
Drawn to the slow rhythm of working with clay, Jack began his practice three years ago — a process rooted in mindfulness and material honesty. His work blends raw, earthy textures with warm, timeless glazes; part functional, part sculptural, each piece is designed to be both used and cherished.
The Unearthed collection is inspired by the land itself — ancient soils and weathered stone. Every piece is shaped by hand and finished in small batches, using Jack’s three signature glaze combinations: Toast, Rust and Charcoal.
Sustainability is at the heart of his practice — from locally sourced materials to careful, low-impact firing methods. These are pieces made to last, to be passed down and to grow more beautiful with time.
